How “Protecting Children” Will Be Exploited to Usher in the New Digital Gulag

      It’s not coming. It’s here.

The European Union is pushing full speed ahead on its European Digital Identity Wallet, a centralized, government-controlled ID system that will soon be required for everything from banking and shopping to accessing social services. But while most Americans assume they’re safe from this dystopian nightmare, the reality is far more disturbing.

Because the truth is, this system isn’t just coming—it’s already here. The only thing left is the excuse to flip the switch.

And that excuse is already being primed: “keeping children safe online.”

The “For the Children” Trojan Horse

Predictably, the push for digital IDs in the West is being framed as a moral imperative. Soon, expect a manufactured panic about how children are being harmed by easy access to explicit content, violent material, and online predators.

Of course, no one in their right mind supports exposing kids to dangerous content. But if history has taught us anything, it’s that government rarely stops where it claims it will. What starts as a narrowly tailored law to “protect children” will inevitably morph into a mandated digital ID for all online activity—including banking, investing, education, and even travel.

European officials openly admit that this system will be required for “trustworthy” internet use. The question is, who gets to define what “trustworthy” means?

      Digital ID = Digital Prison

It’s not hard to see where this is going. Once you’re required to log in to the internet with a government-issued digital ID, privacy becomes a thing of the past. The government (and its corporate partners) will have total visibility into everything you do—every transaction, every search, every website you visit, every message you send.

It won’t stop there. Soon, you’ll need your ID to:

      • Access financial services (including withdrawing your own money)
      • Book travel (airlines, public transit, even hotels)
      • Use healthcare (appointments, insurance, prescriptions)
      • File taxes (already in the works with “automated tax filing”)

All of this is being built right now under the guise of “efficiency” and “fraud prevention.”

But the real fraud is the illusion of choice. Because once you’re fully dependent on this system to function in society, your access can be revoked with the push of a button.

Just ask the truckers in Canada.

      Americans, You’re Not Safe Either

Many Americans still assume this is a “Europe problem.” But wake up—it’s already happening here.

Elon Musk, the guy now running government-funded digital ID projects under DOGE, has openly stated his plan to turn X into an “everything app—which would require users to link their identity to access financial services, online payments, and even messaging.

Meanwhile, Trump has made “biometric borders” a top priority, expanding mass surveillance infrastructure under the guise of stopping illegal immigration. But here’s the real question: When has government surveillance ever stayed within its original mission?

A border control system today is a digital gulag tomorrow.

The WEF, Stablecoins, and the New Control Grid

Think the fight is over because Trump banned CBDCs? Think again. The World Economic Forum and the Atlantic Council aren’t giving up. Instead, they’re shifting the narrative: Stablecoins are the new control mechanism.

Unlike traditional CBDCs, which faced massive public backlash, stablecoins seem “private” and “market-driven.” But don’t be fooled. Once tied to a digital ID system, they’ll function precisely the same way—controllable, programmable, and trackable.

And when combined with centralized AI governance (like Musk’s DOGE project), the result is an unholy alliance of state and corporate power, creating a seamless global control grid.

      The Final Lockdown

This isn’t some far-off dystopian fantasy—it’s happening right now.

Once digital ID becomes mandatory for online access, it will spread—first to banking, then to transportation, then healthcare, until finally, the only way to participate in society will be through the system they control.

We’re at the tipping point. If people don’t push back now, we’ll soon wake up in a world where:

      • Every online action is tracked.
      • Every purchase is logged.
      • Every deviation from the state’s preferred behavior can be punished.

And once you’re in the system, there’s no opting out.

The battle for digital freedom isn’t just about resisting CBDCs or fighting back against internet censorship. It’s about stopping the infrastructure of total control before it’s too late.

Because once “your papers, please” becomes the norm—they won’t have to ask for your permission anymore.
