As conservatives and other patriots across the country wait with bated breath, pondering the nightmare of a possible Joe Biden presidency and a Democrat-controlled Congress, there are many among these who appear to grasp the perilous nature of these potentialities, and others who apparently do not.

Over the last two months, we’ve heard conservative politicos strategizing as regards how they plan to “win it back” should Joe Biden ascend to the presidency, conservatives engaging in futile arguments with rabid leftists on social media and conservative radio talk-show hosts attempting to deconstruct the mechanics of our recent general election.

There may be something I’m missing, but now that it’s been established that our electoral system has been thoroughly compromised, should Joe Biden ascend to the presidency and the Democrats take Congress, I fail to see how we’re going to win anything back, save for via force of arms. I mean, with an electoral system that can be manipulated by socialist oligarchs in their favor, it seems a no-brainer that all future elections and any attempts to reform the system will be similarly compromised, as I indicated weeks ago in this space. The way I see it, expecting fair elections in the future is analogous to remaining in a high-stakes poker game with the knowledge that there’s at least one accomplished cheater at the table.

The days of coexisting with the left are gone, and this means everyone from the committed liberal to the communist. Like hardcore Islamists or neo-Nazis (for example), there is no coexistence with the left, and our 50 years of attempting to do so has proven to be a self-evident and dangerous folly. Unlike the stylized “Coexist” bumper sticker borne by so many of their automobiles, leftists have no more desire to coexist with us than hardcore Islamists or Nazis – they want it all, and they want it now.

Over the last year, it has become painfully evident that those on the left are fine with employing everything from the politics of personal destruction to murder. In similar fashion to the alleged “good Muslims” among us, “liberals of good conscience” are lending de facto support to their more radical brethren through their delusion.

So, if we’ve established that the Democratic Party is the party of radical socialism or even communism, then what of the Republican Party?

Unfortunately, I’m seeing something of a disconnect amongst rank-and-file Republicans and conservatives here as well. Given the prevailing rhetoric, it appears that many of these folks seem to think that should President Trump wind up conceding last November’s election, somehow they will be able to count on their Republican lawmakers to rally with them to “win it all back” at some point in the future.

This may be an even sillier proposition than attempting to win back the presidency or Congress through a corrupt electoral system. It’s been apparent to me for at least the last decade that the Republican leadership’s acknowledged role in government is to provide a sparring partner to the Democrats as they usher in a megalithic socialist state. Their grudging support for President Trump over the last four years only confirms their allegiance to the deep state.

It may indeed be time to scuttle the GOP, as sad and sobering as this may sound. Purging the party of establishment hacks just doesn’t seem feasible, considering their overwhelming majority within the party. While many conservatives and party loyalists may balk at this (if for no other reason than their belief that the party’s infrastructure could remain useful) it is clear that the Republican Party has been thoroughly corrupted from top to bottom.

While we’re discussing the top, we’ve obviously got to mention Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Once again, it’s not like I took him to be a righteous dude up until a few months ago; his duplicity has been apparent to me for many years. As with most GOP lawmakers, his support for conservative measures has been far more a function of tactics than principle. Apart from McConnell being the poster boy for the RINO population in Washington, I’ve always found him to be a singularly repellant individual whose voice is really hard to listen to without becoming nauseous.

For two months now, I’ve been saying that if you want to know who our weak links are, we need look no further than those who have congratulated Joe Biden for his alleged electoral win, as McConnell did on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Now, had the preponderance of available data begun to look like widespread election fraud had not occurred, I might be able to find justification in this move. Since the preponderance of available data has indicated the precise opposite, however, I’ll just put this down to McConnell’s status as a consummate political whore. In recent weeks, he’s also telegraphed his intention to support certifying the results of November’s election.

Like many of us, I’ve also had occasion to look askance at McConnell’s wife. While Mitch has the look of a guy who’d rather be enjoying submissive romps with a 350-pound Samoan power lifter, he happens to be married to Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

As the reader may be aware, Chao’s family, originally from Taiwan, is in the shipping business (as in owning and operating cargo ships internationally). Chao’s family has been suspected of being just a little too cozy with the communist Chinese, as well as allegedly playing fast and loose with their cargo manifests.

So, if all this is what we can expect from a Republican Senate majority leader, why would we expect anything more from elected Republicans in Washington? Indeed, there are only a handful whom we might call stalwart conservatives. The rest are whores, like Mitch.

I’ve never met Mitch McConnell, but I’ve met enough high-ranking Republicans and Democrats to have mastered gauging the character of such people on-the-fly. I’ve gotten the same impression from just about all of them, and it’s not a good one.

Whether Republican or Democrat, all of our Washington power players went to the same schools, studied with the same professors, hang out with the same people in the same places and have the same employer. Finally, they all have a seat at the same rarefied deep state table – a table which, until recently, our president intended to dismantle.

You do the math.

Earlier this week, U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris posted a bunch of wistful tweets supposedly detailing her childhood Kwanzaa celebrations. It didn’t take long for critics and detractors to unload on the alleged vice president-elect for having likely fabricated these cherished “childhood memories” – and with very good reason.

“Our Kwanzaa celebrations are one of my favorite childhood memories,” one tweet said. “The whole family would gather around across multiple generations and we’d tell stories and light the candles.” As a bunch of Twitterites indicated, this is highly unlikely, since Harris was born in 1964, and Kwanzaa wasn’t even “a thing” until 1966.

I was born in 1961. As I’ve mentioned previously in this space, I grew up on a first-name basis with the children of slain civil rights leader Malcolm X. I vividly remember seeing the newspaper and TV reports of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. I also had a mother who was singularly focused on the education of black youth in our community throughout my childhood. What all this means is that I was very conscious of things that were going on at that time in the area of race relations and civil rights, and the changes that were taking place.

I didn’t even hear about Kwanzaa until the late 1970s, and at that time, I saw it exactly for what it was: a contrived, pretentious bunch of garbage calculated by the political left to sow racial division. Later on, of course, I learned how fake Kwanzaa truly was, having been invented from whole cloth by black radical and FBI informant, Ron Karenga, who also founded a violent black nationalist group that rivaled the Black Panthers back in the day – the Crips to the Black Panthers’ Bloods, you might say.

So it’s pretty much impossible that the half-black, half-Indian Harris ever celebrated Kwanzaa as a child, a notion reinforced by photos released of Harris as a child and her family celebrating … Christmas!

But let us not allow facts to get in the way of crafting a bogus legacy, shall we? From 2007 on, commentators such as myself and our readers screamed from the rooftops as regards the counterfeit origin story and bona fides of one Barack Hussein Obama. It didn’t seem to matter to those enamored of Obama at the time, and even a birth certificate so carelessly crafted that even a junior high school student could have recognized it as a forgery upon cursory examination did nothing to diminish the cult of Obama. Neither the press nor Obama’s supposed adversaries in the Republican Party had any desire to even consider the truth, let alone disseminate same; over the next eight years, it became chillingly apparent that both the press and the GOP leadership were solidly behind the (Deep State) oligarchy.

So there’s really no need to get into the fact that Kamala Harris has never been more than an over-educated prostitute and identity politics-hustling hypocrite who threw blacks under the bus in order to advance her career. And there’s probably no point in sounding alarms over the danger attendant to this vile, cackling witch potentially being one embolism away from the presidency.

The efforts of Kamala Harris to ingratiate herself to those on social media do give rise to a question many have asked about some of the more audacious false claims made by prominent leftists over the last few years, however: Why are these people so quick and so willing to make statements that can so easily be proven false?

One would think that such people would harbor concern for damaging their credibility, but apparently, credibility now matters as little as the truth. Elected Democrats and leftist political operatives are only playing to their base and the propagandized, low-information masses; any inconsistencies concerning their rhetoric will be handily spun away by the press and managed by their Big Tech cronies.

So, Kamala Harris can say anything she likes about Kwanzaa or anything else, since we’re a nation that’s apparently all right with rewriting history. Barack Obama is now an elder statesman and our celebrated first black president; he flies around the world spouting the same anti-American bilge he spouted as president, while receiving all of the fortune and glory due a former chief executive of our nation. The fact that he and his cabal spent eight years dedicatedly decimating our economy, military, domestic tranquility and international standing has been conveniently forgotten.

Worse, Obama’s efforts toward weaponizing federal agencies and cementing the power of the Washington establishment figured prominently in the underhanded political resistance President Trump’s administration has faced, as well as – in all likelihood – the death of free and fair elections in America.

It isn’t often that a media offering depicts a poignant example of how and why things are the way they truly are in real life, but I recently happened upon one that I’d like to discuss here. “Manhunt: Deadly Games” is a limited series that premiered on Netflix this year and which depicts a fictionalized account of the FBI’s hunt for Eric Rudolph, the perpetrator of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing and other bombings across the southern U.S. during the same time period. “Deadly Games” was produced by the same team that delivered “Manhunt: Unabomber” for The Discovery Channel in 2017.

As many will be aware, Netflix is one of those streaming networks that discriminating viewers consider with a jaded eye. Earlier this year, the network was slammed over its film “Cuties,” which shamelessly sexualized prepubescent girls. Some readers will be acquainted with the network’s deal with Barack and Michelle Obama. Inked in 2018, the arrangement calls for the Obamas to produce “a diverse mix of content.” It’s anyone’s guess as to precisely how this will pan out, but it’s a cinch that anything that pair puts forth will be thoroughly subversive cultural rot.

So, it is nearly bracing if unexpected when Netflix airs something that hits the nail so squarely on the head.

Whether or not it was intended, “Manhunt: Deadly Games” is as much about how the FBI and the establishment press conspired to frame security guard Richard Jewell for the Olympic Park bombing, despite experts from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) having known that Jewell could not have carried out the bombing from early in the crime scene analysis.

Picking up on stories by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s terminally ambitious Kathy Scruggs, the FBI and the national press advanced the story that Jewell was a cop-wannabe loser who lived with his mom and actually planted the explosive device so that he could be a “hero.” Jewell’s life was subsequently destroyed, as one might imagine: The Olympic Park bombing killed two and injured well over 100 innocent people who’d just come to see the Olympics.

Jewell was never officially cleared by the FBI, even when Eric Rudolph, a psychopath with a penchant for mayhem, was formally charged with the Olympic Park and other bombings; it is primarily through two interviews with CBS’ “60 Minutes” program that the former security guard got a fair airing of his story. In truth, he had discovered the explosive device while working security at the venue and alerted police to its presence. In the attempts to evacuate the area prior to the bomb detonating, hundreds of lives were indeed saved.

While a great deal of the program focuses on the FBI’s fumbling attempts to apprehend Eric Rudolph (whom they flatly refused to consider as a suspect for the Olympic Park bombing until very late in the game), the duplicity of the FBI and the press figure very prominently.

We can certainly understand the zeal of Atlanta reporter Kathy Scruggs and the pressure that was on the FBI to name a suspect. It was also quite proper for the FBI to consider the “hero bomber” angle. However, we can also see how Scruggs played fast and loose with her reporting and how the FBI dismissed exculpatory evidence, tried to entrap Jewell during interviews and let their egos drive the bus. Finally, we can readily see the lack of ethics that went into the summary sacrifice of Jewell as a USDA Grade A scumbag by the press.

Now, we could say that unflattering representations in “Deadly Games” are colored by how certain characters were depicted, but considering how positively Hollywood tends to depict the press and the pre-Trump federal government, the dim view this program sheds on both says a lot. “Deadly Games” indicates something astute news viewers have suspected for years – that the FBI’s law enforcement chops aren’t nearly what they used to be, and that the organization has devolved into an elitist bureaucracy whose upper-echelon members are far more about politics than they are law enforcement.

As Special Agent Jack Brennan and his team lead the hunt for serial bomber Eric Rudolph in the hills of North Carolina, we’re shown how Rudolph played both local militias and the FBI as fools. “Deadly Games” even makes the militias appear more forthright, savvy and well-coordinated than the FBI, something I’m sure the producers were not trying to do.

One of the really great representations in this production was that of Louis Freeh, the FBI director under Bill Clinton. Freeh is portrayed by Desmond Harrington, who brilliantly captures the Clintonista’s narcissistic, craven posturing and deep state affinities. Between the machinations of this utter weasel, Brennan’s shady maneuvering and the malicious, cavalier deportment of the national press, it is very easy to see how we wound up where we are today in the real world. More importantly, it is easy to see how we wound up with an FBI compromised to the degree that it would collude with rouge elements in Congress to attempt to oust a duly-elected president.

As often as life tends to imitate the sick art of Hollywood these days, it is refreshing to see art imitate life for a change, and with reasonable accuracy.

Since it has now been established that our once-great nation has been reduced to a state-of-the-art banana republic, I thought I’d move on to some of the things to which we’ll still need to pay heed once the supposititious Biden administration takes the reins in Washington, assuming this does in fact occur.

Before we get into that, however, I will say that I think it is still quite probable that the nation will descend into civil war regardless of who is recognized as president of the United States at the end of next month. Should Joe Biden be inaugurated as president, I maintain that this might indeed be the best thing, as it would place patriots and supporters of the socialist cabal in Washington on equal footing. By this, I mean that patriots would finally be able to act against our enemies without restraint. Anyone who thinks this an extreme statement still fails to grasp the gravity of our situation, or is simply a fool.

Should Joe Biden take office, of course, it will represent a new age of darkness for this nation. Considering the wholesale debasement of our institutions a Biden presidency will bring about, it is likely that this will result in the ultimate dissolution of the United States, even if it doesn’t come about as a result of civil war.

For those looking for a manner in which all of this might be contextualized philosophically, all I can say is that great societies have been rising and falling on this planet for millennia. Witnessing the fall of Rome probably would have been rather interesting; at least we can say that we were around for the fall of one of the “big ones.” Perhaps the next great society that comes into being will heed our example and possess the foresight to eliminate their subversive elements with extreme prejudice before they amass the strength to gain ascendency.

In the meantime: Some of the more agonizing experiences we’ve endured in recent weeks have included being subjected to the incomprehensibly inane blathering of those on the left as regards pretty much every topic open to discussion. I’m sure I’m not the only one who will attest to the effluvia of smugness, fallacy, hatred, self-righteousness, capriciousness, slander and outright lies having been rather hard to take.

This week, Microsoft founder Bill Gates warned that some restaurants and bars will have to remain closed as a result of the recent COVID-19 surge, even commenting on CNN that pandemic restrictions might have to remain in place through 2022.

Which makes this a stellar object lesson in leftist elitism.

As we know, Bill Gates is a barking mad leftist. He has made his political sentiments quite clear over the years, even investing $500 million in 1996 to found the odious MSNBC. His donations, rhetoric and political associations certainly reflect his views. In recent years, Gates has also positioned himself as a self-appointed expert on immunology and vaccines. How he managed this remains somewhat unclear to me, save for the summary credibility morons in our society seem so willing to grant those who have money.

There are two things I’d like to address here, the first being Gates’ manifest lack of credibility in this area. Granted that Gates has every right to be an outspoken advocate for vaccines, and to invest in vaccine development and promotion through his Gates Foundation, but no one on the planet should consider him an authority on the topic simply because he throws money at the issue and talks about it a lot.

Bill Gates certainly isn’t the first wealthy individual who thinks he can speak with authority on issues about which he knows very little simply because he’s wealthy, and he won’t be the last. For my part, I’d say that my 23 years in biomedical, immunological and infectious disease research makes me far more of an authority on these topics than Gates will ever be.

Then, of course, there’s the question of Gates’ motivations in the area of vaccinating the world considering his status as a barking mad socialist. Suspicious at best, sinister at worst is where I’d put my money without speculating as to Bill’s ultimate goal.

Which brings us to my next point: Obviously, I have no problem whatsoever with Gates accumulating vast wealth. He was instrumental in developing an emerging industry, and he’s employed and enriched lots of people. Gates using his wealth to advance the socialist agenda, however, is craven, subversive and hypocritical. As I’ve said before, when guys like Gates (or Mark Zuckerberg, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, Jack Dorsey or Jeff Bezos) build multimillion- and billion-dollar companies and then support socialism, they are effectively kicking down the ladder of success behind them so that others will be deprived of the opportunities they enjoyed. With every inch we gravitate toward socialism, prosperity becomes just a little bit harder for the aspirant to achieve.

In other words, Bill Gates doesn’t care if the economy disintegrates behind a two-year pandemic lockdown; he’s already got his – which has been the credo of mega-wealthy liberals since there have been mega-wealthy liberals.

Finally, even as a business success story, the accomplishments of Bill Gates – regularly cited as earthshaking by business mavens – really aren’t much to crow about. Yes, he started Microsoft, with its record-breaking earnings, but when you look at where the microcomputer revolution was in the early 1980s (Microsoft was founded in 1975), it’s easy to see that there was a big niche to fill alongside IBM and Apple, which dominated personal computing at that time. As any older computer geek will tell you, the Windows operating system was not original; had the niche not been filled by Microsoft, it would have been quickly filled by another company, or a handful thereof. Finally, those who have followed Microsoft’s climb know that Gates’ business deportment has often been less than ethical.

So, it’s not like Gates is akin to Jonas Salk or someone of similar stature (vaccination pun intended). He was definitely in the right place at the right time for technology, but unfortunately, in the wrong place at the wrong time for our nation.

Here’s a recent news item that may appear isolated, but which provides a very clear object lesson in the character of those on the left. In a sense, it’s also queerly germane to the holiday season – assuming we’re still allowed to use the word “queerly” in this context.

Based on news reports and a video that began circulating on social media this week, apparently, a masked, socially-distanced, politically-correct mall Santa recently brought a little boy to tears when he refused the child’s request for a Nerf® gun for Christmas after being asked for his wish list.

Obviously, Santa’s response was in keeping with the individual’s personal disdain for firearms, and the liberal convention of presuming one’s view is the only righteous one. Leave it to a liberal to impose his views and preferences upon a child who can’t understand the dynamic at hand. I definitely empathize with the child, and I hope the incident doesn’t ruin his Christmas – a holiday the guy in the Santa suit probably cherishes about as much as he does the Second Amendment.

Before we delve into this analysis, let us establish that it really isn’t a mall Santa’s job to vet the wish lists of the children with whom they chat. Even if the kid asked for a 55-gallon drum of hydrochloric acid with which he might dissolve his siblings, it’s Santa’s job to pass on said request to the attending parent – not to judge or engage in activism.

Many will remember the “no war toys” campaigns that began on the left during the 1970s. Here, lobbyists and activists advanced an effort to remove “war toys” (read toy firearms) from every home, game, toy store, commercial and children’s television program in America. Violent cartoons – even such fare as “Tom & Jerry” and “Looney Tunes” – came under attack by liberals as potentially turning little boys into spree killers. The nascent conventional wisdom (read aggressively promoted liberal orthodoxy) held that parents who continued to allow their children to play with toy firearms were knuckle-dragging troglodytes.

Bear in mind that all of this came about despite the admonitions from many prominent psychologists that little boys are naturally aggressive and really need to get those impulses out during childhood, or there was a real danger they actually would wind up as spree killers. This endeavor was also part of leftist efforts toward emasculating males and promoting gender confusion, the early sexualization of children, casual sex, premarital sex, unfettered abortion and other challenges to traditional morality that began during the same period.

In response, cartoons that represented various forms of conflict became “dumbed-down,” bland and barely worth watching. Even the GI Joe® cartoons of that era depicted every single enemy pilot parachuting to safety after the dogfight. While most of the traditional “war toys” (cap guns and such) continued to be sold, toy manufacturers switched gears; instead of promoting overtly militaristic toys, they began to market and sell – guess what? – a whole lot of Nerf® guns.

If I haven’t made my sentiments abundantly clear in recent weeks, let me proffer this in unambiguous terms: Liberals are slime. In order to avoid being accused of engaging in empty, vicious invective, allow me to clarify precisely what I mean by “slime.” Those who are bereft of honor, ethics, scruples or any sense of moral obligation qualify as such – and it has been made painfully evident in recent years that this is the character of the liberal.

Is it “a bit much” to relegate all liberals to slimehood? No, I don’t think it is. As I recently demonstrated in this space, liberalism (or progressivism) is simply the wedge radical leftists insidiously engaged in order to incrementally usher in a socialist state. Well, you can kill someone with a bullet to the head, or by slow poison; they’ll still be just as dead. Thus, there is no reason that liberal policies should have been tolerated in the name of fair play or erroneous interpretations of constitutional law over the last 60 years. None.

As we know, the truly rabid left exist in extremely small numbers; it is only their immoderate vociferousness and the fact that many of these people occupy places of power that give the impression of a wider scope of influence. It is probable that the majority of self-identifying liberals have simply been thoroughly deluded. Regardless, I would say that these people are likely to be faced with a significant decision in the very near future. With factions in our nation so perilously close to being enemy combatants, the committed liberal should be mindful that enemy combatants typically don’t engage in intellectual analysis as to whether or not their enemy may be following an evil doctrine or regime out of ignorance or delusion.

In other words, if you commit treason, those who ultimately wind up judging you won’t be concerned with the fact that you did so out of ignorance or delusion, only with the fact that you committed treason.

For the committed conservative, libertarian, or even the unbiased, non-ideological swing voter, the lines that have been drawn should be unmistakable. In the last year alone, the abysmal character of those on the left and the danger they represent have been made clear, whether we’re talking about the Squad’s cries for free everything, orchestrated mayhem in our cities, Democratic elites skirting COVID-19 restrictions for personal economic benefit or calls for the systematic persecution of our president’s supporters.

All those who self-identify as being left-of-center are enemies of this nation, and there is no middle ground.

As the reader may be aware, earlier this week Attorney General William Barr told the Associated Press that the Justice Department has not seen evidence of widespread vote fraud that would affect the outcome of the 2020 election.

According to Barr, most of the claims of fraud investigated have been “very particularized to a particular set of circumstances or actors or conduct” but “are not systemic allegations.” Leaving aside the potential for nefarious activity in between the lines of those utterances and the discouraging nature thereof, I’d like to point out a couple of things that tend to detract the credibility of his statements.

First off, if Barr is citing the actions of U.S. attorneys and FBI agents, and we have to take into account the deportment of these parties over the last several years. How could Barr or anyone else presume that the same U.S. attorneys and FBI agents who have been conspiring with D.C. elites to oust President Trump over the last four years be trusted to investigate instances of vote fraud that might turn the tide in the president’s favor?

Second, I find that “systemic” election tampering being the sole qualification for vote fraud turning the election in Joe Biden’s favor preposterous in the extreme. Barr said that instances of fraud were “very particularized to a particular set of circumstances or actors or conduct” rather than evidencing systemic orchestration.

Concluding that their impact could not have significantly influenced the election’s outcome sounds eerily similar to the assertions we once heard that “there is no Mafia” because law enforcement had not yet discovered the organizational structure of the five Mafia families that were running billion-dollar rackets across the country.

The Deep State cabal made it plain long before November that it was prepared to do anything in its power to oust Trump, legal or otherwise. As I’ve detailed more than once in this space, the previous administration and its surrogates spent a great deal of time and energy reinforcing their shadow government infrastructure. This was evidenced in the mobilization of the foot soldiers we saw engaging in violent demonstrations this year, among other things.

Though we’re aware of some prominent players in this tragic comedy, many have necessarily operated in the shadows. The idea that they would leave a clear trail — paper or otherwise — evidencing their guilt in the area of vote fraud is just silly.

As we know, an unfortunate number of agencies (including most news sources and many elected Republicans) have adopted the narrative that the election was legitimate and that we’ll just have to get along with the incoming administration the best we can. An increasing number of uninformed voters also appear to be willing to accept the results of the election in the vain hope of a return to some semblance of normality. But the election’s outcome, such as it is, cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

Commentator Mark Steyn articulated this extremely well earlier this week while guest hosting on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show. He offered two assertions that ought to resonate with every reader: One, he said that shrugging our collective shoulders and “accepting the lie” (of Biden’s victory) is in the character of corrupt, totalitarian regimes, not a constitutional republic. Two, Republicans have been conceding hills on the field of battle to Democrats for decades, hoping for conciliation and bipartisanism. Finally, he asked — and I’m paraphrasing — what hill are we willing to die on, then, if not one involving a stolen election?

Indeed, in accepting a Biden win in this election, we will have entered a realm that we have never before occupied as a nation, institutionalized corruption. Why vote if our elections are rigged? Why pay one’s taxes? Why obey the law if we are no longer a nation of laws?

The danger relative to our entering these waters cannot be overstated. The recent entreaties of Joe Biden, his surrogates and prominent Democrats toward unity in the wake of this contentious election have engendered both laughter and disgust on the part of Trump supporters.

And this should not be at all surprising.

The principled individual does not reconcile with evil, and neither should we as a nation.

With both encouraging and heartily discouraging information relating to the outcome of the Nov. 3 general election being disseminated on an hourly basis, many Americans remain hopeful that President Donald Trump will be able to establish that there was sufficient voter fraud and/or tampering to sway the election in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket, thus retaining his office.

With dwindling support for Trump amongst GOP lawmakers and politicos (if it ever truly existed), the tacit acceptance of tainted election results on the part of elected officials, the establishment press and news outlets that once at least attempted to appear objective and the entreaties of citizens who believe that any decisive result will represent the return to a semblance of normalcy, it becomes more probable that the president will be forced to concede the election with each passing day.

The contention over the results of this election may appear similar to that surrounding the 2000 general election, but the circumstances are of course quite different. When the George W. Bush and Al Gore campaigns fought it out in court over hanging chads in the election’s wake, it had not yet been made apparent that the Democratic Party represented wholesale radical leftism, with the Democratic national leadership and state governors willing to countenance treason, mayhem and murder in order to secure their political objectives.

Unfortunately, at this juncture, it has become quite apparent that this is the case.

Barring a clear indication that he lost the election fairly, I am comfortable saying that I would support any effort President Trump implemented to retain his office – and I mean any effort.

For those who have a handle on what has really transpired with regard to the Democrats’ criminality and election tampering, obviously, turning the country over to this cabal is a completely unacceptable proposition. However, should Trump concede, all bets are off, and the question of where to go from here will remain.

Should the president manage to retain his office, it is a foregone conclusion that the operatives mobilized to foment civil unrest earlier this year on the pretext of highlighting racial injustice will return to the streets with a vengeance, and in far greater numbers and levels of violence. Such a development would necessitate the president using unprecedented measures to restore the peace, some of which would certainly be characterized as overreach, or even tyrannical.

The real downside to a Trump win – aside from the possibility of civil unrest described above – is that between the chaos attendant to widespread civil unrest and the complicity of radical Democrat officeholders in states that heretofore enabled the violent demonstrations, circumstances might escalate into a full-blown civil war.

Should Joe Biden ultimately ascend to the presidency, however, we can make one of two assumptions:

1. We’ve lost, and the United States of America as we understand it is no more.

2. We will manage to overcome socialist ascendancy via means yet to be determined.

Obviously, we could not look to electoral means to secure political gains. In such a scenario, it will have been established that the left has compromised our electoral system to the degree that establishment candidates – far left Democrats and faux-conservative RINOs – will win in perpetuity.

In other words: How do you win a rigged game?

Answer: You can’t.

Since only around 5% of our population is truly committed to the nightmare vision socialists have in store for us, some form of pushback will be guaranteed. While the nation may not devolve into a civil war footing on the day Biden is sworn in, it could very well erupt sometime thereafter.

Liberty is one of the things that give value to human survival on a day-to-day basis. Being learned individuals and astute students of the human condition, the founders of our nation knew this. We can also see that in nations wherein citizens have no liberty, individuals languish spiritually, mentally and emotionally. These nations tend to implode in time, but that is generally of little concern to the tyrants who govern them, as they seldom see further than the end of their time on the planet.

Should Biden secure the presidency, it is almost certain that Americans will see their liberties evaporate very quickly in the coming years. Taking into account the resulting outrage over these developments, it is likely that heretofore law-abiding citizens will gravitate toward citizen militias and even nationalist organizations that may employ terrorist tactics. Once again, such a progression could escalate into civil war.

We are most certainly already at war, although few have acknowledged this fact. I’ve taken some heat for comparing the first few salvos we’ve seen to actual military engagements and the horror that goes with them, but those criticizing this appraisal fail to recognize something students of military history know well: The way in which warfare is conducted changes over time, and we’ve seen ample evidence of this over the last few hundred years. In terms of this war, the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria has already been assassinated, and Hitler has already rolled into the Sudetenland.

Last week in this space, I upbraided those voters whom I suspected of voting their fears in the recent general election, yielding to the implicit and explicit threats of the radical left and casting votes for the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket in a craven bid to return to a semblance of normalcy. In closing, I promised to follow up this week with insights into why it doesn’t matter in the long term if President Trump does manage to win the legal battles attendant to the election and remain president, how bad things are likely to get under a Biden presidency, and why it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be writing in this space for very much longer.

Granted that rampant voter fraud figured prominently in the election, and that I do earnestly hope our president secures a reelection victory. That said, since last week, there’s been a substantial amount of anecdotal evidence put forth to support the above claim. To the degree that this was the case, as much as I hate to say it, we’re going to reap what we’ve sown.

One of the most sobering aspects of Donald Trump’s presidency was the revelation of just how few in Washington were actually pulling for the American people. Oh, there have been a few Republican senators and representatives in Washington who governed as bona fide conservatives over the years, but none had the will nor the power to stand up to the Beltway machine Trump evidenced as president. Even Trump’s support among GOP leaders like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Lindsey Graham has been grudging; in a Biden regime, their token resistance to socialist ascendency is likely to return to what it was under Barack Obama.

This being the case, there will be essentially no one in Washington effectively executing national policy in the vein that was so desperately needed when Donald Trump became president. The swamp will remain swampy, and the deep state will carry on as before.

Then, there’s the fact that the electorate just doesn’t seem to get it. If the last four years – and the last year in particular – did not drive home the existential danger this nation faces from communist radicals and socialists, it is unlikely that anything will.

All of the above strongly suggests that it doesn’t matter if President Trump does manage to pull off a win, because voters will most likely place the reins right back into the hands of the Washington establishment the moment he leaves office.

How bad are things likely to get under a Biden presidency? Well, first off, a Biden administration will take its victory as a mandate for every far-left initiative congressional Democrats have had brewing over the last few years. Confiscatory taxes? Definitely – especially if anything even remotely resembling the Green New Deal passes. In similar fashion to Obama, we’re likely to see governance by executive order and a return to the weaponization of federal agencies.

With a Biden presidency, Big Tech socialists will continue to own cyberspace. Count on companies in this sector reinforcing their preeminence and stepping up their level of censorship and borderline criminal business practices.

As unpleasant as things have been for conservative commentators and news outlets over the last 12 years, rest assured that the coming years will be significantly worse. Look forward to millions being targeted for “cancellation” by the left, with Big Tech companies paving the way. Since Google knows everyone’s preferences – including political leanings – we will probably see far more in the way of small businesses and even private citizens being targeted by far-left operatives.

Last week, I mentioned that should President Trump fail in his bid to stay in office, the Beltway establishment will never again allow a similar disruptor to get anywhere near the presidency. What’s worse is that should a genuine conservative reformer secure the Republican nomination in the future, it’s likely that millions of Republicans, conservatives, libertarians and evangelical Christians will stay home on the presumption that their votes will be negated by a deluge of illegal Democratic votes. We have now established something we’ve never had before, and that’s an election system without integrity – and no one can begin to predict the damaging effects this will have in the future.

Finally, regarding my doubts as to whether I will be able to continue contributing to this publication for much longer: On Feb. 28, 2007, I broke the story of then-Sen. Barack Obama’s ties to radical pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright on Fox News’ “Hannity and Colmes” program. This gained some notoriety for Yours Truly and proved to be one of the more troublesome obstacles faced by the Obama campaign in 2008.

I doubt that I have to paint a picture of how differently things would have turned out for me had I outed a conservative white Republican candidate’s radical, bigoted pastor rather than that of a leftist black Democrat. Like many who do what I do, in the ensuing years, my livelihood was destroyed and my personal life disrupted. And, like some of the more prominent figures who have endured the politics of personal destruction, there was no effective defense and no recourse.

At this point, I have no intention of throwing good effort after bad, especially when my livelihood and security remain at stake, and in an increasingly hostile environment. If, somehow, I do continue to contribute political commentary in some form, don’t look to my offering solutions, because the only ones I have to offer at this juncture would be tactically unsound to articulate. If I remain, look for me to be more of a cynical, George Carlin-type observer – without all the profanity.

Benjamin Franklin once said, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” My heart goes out to those of good conscience who are likely to suffer mightily in the coming years, but as I said earlier, we’ve made our bed. Those who are unwilling to fight for their liberties do not deserve to have others do it for them.

On March 11, 2004, terrorists representing the Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group detonated 10 bombs on four separate commuter trains in Madrid, Spain. The attacks killed 192 people and injured more than 2,000. Shortly thereafter, the Spanish government received a communiqué from the terrorist group stating that the attacks had been punishment for that nation’s participation in the U.S.-led coalition fighting terrorist elements in Iraq.

As the terrorists intended, these attacks changed the course of Spain’s upcoming election and led the Spanish government to withdraw troops from the U.S.-led coalition. This wasn’t entirely unexpected, since the Spanish had already proved themselves to be a nation of simpering, intellectually indolent Euro-socialists. People such as myself were nevertheless disgusted at seeing the entire nation reflexively abdicate its moral responsibility just because things had become somewhat uncomfortable.

For the last week, we’ve witnessed the wrangling of the Democratic and Republican presidential campaigns both claiming victory in last week’s general election despite an apparent narrow electoral win for former Vice President Joe Biden. At this point, there is overwhelming anecdotal evidence supporting the widespread use of voter fraud and regulation-bending on the part of certain states and localities. In my view, this isn’t at all surprising, considering Democrats’ unprincipled deportment over the last four years.

What’s far more disturbing than the specter of a Biden-Harris administration and the fact that our electoral system has been compromised to this degree are the raw numbers reflected in the election. Even if voter fraud and illegal practices did take place, this election appeared to reflect the unaffiliated voters who voted for Trump in 2016 breaking for Biden in 2020 in a major way.

Here, I think the mistake people such as myself made in our appraisal of the 2016 general election is that we surmised that unaffiliated voters were voting their principles, when in fact they were voting their pocketbooks (as many people do in presidential elections). In 2020, instead of voting their pocketbooks or their principles, these voters voted their fears. A lot of voters were terrified, and terrified people generally don’t make good decisions.

I don’t think we can underestimate the degree of national wounding that has taken place over the last eight months, nor the mental and emotional stresses to which citizens have been subjected during this period. Most voters weren’t savvy enough to accurately assess the political dynamics behind the coronavirus pandemic and the violent demonstrations of the last six months. In light of Democrats’ ceaseless charges that President Trump handled the pandemic abysmally and that the domestic unrest was a product of his top-down racism, it appears that many voters succumbed to the admonitions of the left that it could all go away in the wake of a Biden victory.

In other words, they caved to the blackmail of socialists who merely exploited the above issues in order to bring about the very result we’re seeing.

In this climate of Americans desperately wishing to return to some semblance of normalcy, it is not likely that they will stand for legal battles to determine the legitimate president dragging on until hours before Inauguration Day. With all of the major news outlets having declared Biden victorious, and with the Biden transition team operating as though there was no controversy attendant to the election’s outcome, it is more than likely that President Trump will ultimately concede.

Should this occur, we will never see another disruptor like Donald Trump vying for high office again. The Washington establishment (read the deep state) will never again allow anyone to threaten their preeminence in the way Trump did. From this point forward, only party-approved, establishment hacks will pass muster for candidacy, whether Republican or Democrat, whether for state or federal offices.

One may say that the presidency – as well as several congressional seats – were stolen through voter fraud, but if this is true, then we must also look at how a political infrastructure sufficient to facilitate such fraud came about. It didn’t happen in a vacuum, and that’s on us.

After the last several years – and after the last year in particular – I no longer see the exceptional Americans so frequently lionized by the president and some of our more ebullient radio talk-show hosts. I no longer see the nation of differing opinions, backgrounds and creeds who nevertheless came together time and again to battle common enemies and prevail for 244 years, stronger together for having done so.

Today, I see a nation of feckless morons. I see morons who vote in the 50-percents. I see morons who think that water-cooler conversation and an hour of TV news a day translates into being politically informed. I see morons who voted on single issues for decades while their statehouses and city councils were being packed with radicals. I see morons who were more concerned with acquiring McMansions and luxury vehicles than with who was educating their children, and how. I see morons who engaged in absentee parenting, plopping their kids in front of the TV with little regard for the messages they were receiving through that medium. I see morons who allowed leftists to drive the narrative on every issue for decades, even adopting their politically correct, worldview-subverting verbiage, simply because liberals demanded it. I see morons who continued to patronize big tech and media companies, knowing full well that these agencies were using their wealth to subvert our liberties.

I see morons who were so cowed by liberals’ sandbox invective that they not only capitulated to every demand made by the left, but they absolutely refused even to meet harsh rhetoric with harsh rhetoric for fear of being labeled potentially violent, or of being called an “ist” or “phobe” of some sort. I see morons who failed to resist the pop culture spirit poison being purveyed by their schools and school boards because they didn’t want to appear bigoted. Finally, I see morons who insisted upon playing fair with opponents who were making gain after dangerous gain playing dirty.

Like Spain in 2004, I see a nation whose citizens reflexively abdicated their moral responsibility just because things had become somewhat uncomfortable.

The real tragedy is that they don’t know just uncomfortable things are likely to get moving forward. In the next installment, I will discuss why it doesn’t matter in the long term if President Trump does manage to pull off a win, how bad things are likely to get under a Biden presidency, and why it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be writing in this space for very much longer.

As I write this, it is with the knowledge that by the time this column is published, we will almost certainly not have a clear winner of the presidency of the United States as a result of Tuesday’s general election. As indicated last week in this space, the sense of urgency surrounding the general election was palpable, and only time will tell whether this translated into the wholesale mobilization of voters that was hoped for on both sides.

While many Americans expressed surprise and outrage that they didn’t go to bed Tuesday night or wake on Wednesday morning with a clear winner, the fact that the presidency and other races remain “too close to call” should not have been entirely unexpected. Considering the current political climate, it was largely predictable that anything other than a landslide of indisputable proportions was going to lead to contention in the election’s outcome.

As the Trump and Biden camps gear up for legal challenges, and with votes still being counted, of course, the question of whether voter fraud played a part in the balloting has arisen, and will undoubtedly influence how events unfold in the coming days (and perhaps weeks).

In my view, a better question is not whether voter fraud played a part in the balloting, but how much voter fraud played a part in the balloting. Why? Two reasons. The first is because the character of those on the left lends itself to disreputable undertakings. We know that at this point, the Democratic leadership in Washington is largely comprised of socialists and functional Marxists, for whom an “ends justify the means” modality is standard operating procedure.

The second is that the deportment of elected Democrats, the Washington establishment and their surrogates since Trump took office made it quite plain that there was no lie too big to tell, no accusation too scurrilous to level and no conspiracy theory too outlandish to float in their efforts to oust the president. These combined with the increase in mail-in balloting, reports of registered voters receiving pre-filled ballots in the mail and similar shenanigans lend credence to the contention that voter fraud was probably rampant in this election.

Given the above, were I our president, I would not even consider conceding the race until a clear winner is validated by a reputable governing authority. Given the stakes, I am sure that Joe Biden’s handlers are giving him similar advice.

While the positive tone of President Trump’s campaign was clearly evidenced leading up to the election, the Biden-Harris ticket had no self-affirming messages – only boilerplate, pie-in-the-sky lies, promises of high-ticket handouts and sticking it to “the Man.” The message of the left at large was twofold: incessant articulation of the imperative for removing Trump at all cost, and a clear intention to burn the country down if the election failed to turn out as they’d like.
